About This Program
In a partnership between the School of Nursing IDEALS Program and the STEP Program, we have offered an introduction to nursing Saturday class series for local high school students. Topics covered include: NARCAN, Stop-the-Bleed, medical ethics, personal branding, partnership in the nursing profession, career journeys in nursing, affirmative action, imposter syndrome, career vision boards, and skills of observation with the Hofstra Museum.
