Pediatric Pep Talk

About This Program

In order to enhance access to support services for children and adolescents from underserved and lower socioeconomic communities from Jacobi Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, faculty and students from the Hofstra Northwell Physician Assistant Studies Program will partner with students from the University of Notre Dame’s Pediatric Pep Talk, a non-profit organization intended to help chronically and critically ill children better cope with their illness. Participating PA students will join student athletes from Notre Dame in creating inspirational videos for critically or chronically ill pediatric patients in inner city hospitals as a strategy to encourage them in fighting their illness.
