About This Program
Day of Dialogue addresses many issues that have been identified as greatly concerning to students. Topics include LGBTQ+ activism, immigration policy, U.S. foreign affairs, environmental issues, and Long Island’s troubled history with eugenics research. Students and faculty look forward to Day of Dialogue every year because it devotes time and focus to complex topics deserving of exploration and debate.
